How NFLPlayoffBracket.com handles your information
NFLPlayoffBracket.com is operated by TransformersTech LLC. This page explains what information the service uses to run bracket pools, how payments are handled, and how to reach support with questions about your account or data.
Account information
Sign-in is provided through Firebase Authentication (a Google service). Depending on how you sign in (with an email and password, or with Google sign-in), the service may process your email address, your sign-in provider, a display name, a profile photo where your provider supplies one, and an account identifier used to keep your pools, brackets, and purchases connected to your account.
A profile record associated with your account may store this basic account information along with account and sign-in timestamps.
Pool and bracket information
The service stores the information needed to operate bracket pools: pool membership and commissioner ownership, invitations, your bracket selections and tiebreaker predictions, standings and scoring, pool settings, and the display identity (such as your name or email) shown to other participants within a pool. Bracket picks and standings are part of how pools work. They can be visible to other members of your pool through the app's normal features, such as standings and bracket-viewing pages.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment details, such as your card number, are collected and processed by Stripe. NFLPlayoffBracket.com does not store complete credit-card numbers in its database. The service keeps transaction-related records needed to operate and support purchases, such as the product purchased, purchase status, amount and currency, and Stripe transaction/session references.
Support requests
When you contact support through the Help page, the service may store what you submit, such as your email address, your message, and context like the pool or page you were asking about, so we can respond and troubleshoot.
Browser storage
The app uses browser storage on your device to keep you signed in between visits and to save certain in-app features locally. For example, hypothetical picks you build in the What-If simulator are saved in your own browser. Not all of this storage takes the form of cookies.
Service providers
The service is built on a small set of infrastructure providers: Firebase / Google (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on behalf of the service according to their own policies and terms.
Analytics and advertising
The application does not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics tools in its application code. Hosting and infrastructure providers may generate routine operational logs as part of running any internet service.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information, including authenticated access, server-side authorization checks, and payment processing through Stripe. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot promise that information can never be accessed or disclosed through events outside our control.
Retention and deletion
Information is kept for as long as needed to operate the service, for example to run your pools, keep purchase records, respond to support requests, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal or accounting obligations. If you need help with your account or data, contact support through the Help page.
Children
The service is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided information through the service, contact support so we can help.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The current version will always be available on this page.
